You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 7:30 AM and drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours). Enjoy a full day game drive in Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
Tarangire is home to over 3,000 elephants and 550 bird species. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife year-round, making it an excellent location for wildlife viewing. Look out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the rare fringe-eared oryx.
Comfortable tented lodge with ensuite bathrooms, hot showers, and restaurant. Located just outside the park with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
After breakfast, depart Tarangire for the Ndutu Region in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 4-5 hours drive with game viewing en route). Arrive in time for lunch at your camp.
The Ndutu Region is part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem and is famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration from December to March. During this period, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra congregate here to calve.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Ndutu Region. Search for predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas that follow the migration. Return to camp before sunset.
Full day dedicated to exploring the Ndutu Region with packed lunch. This area offers fantastic game viewing year-round, with the migration spectacle occurring from December to March.
Witness the drama of the wild as predators hunt the vulnerable newborn wildebeest calves. The short grass plains provide excellent visibility for spotting wildlife. Cheetahs are commonly seen in this area, using termite mounds as observation points.
The open plains and dramatic skies of Ndutu create perfect conditions for wildlife photography. Capture stunning images of predator-prey interactions and vast herds of grazing animals.
After breakfast, drive to Central Serengeti (approx. 3-4 hours with game viewing en route). Enter Serengeti National Park through the Naabi Hill Gate and continue to your camp in the central Seronera region.
The Serengeti is Tanzania's oldest and most famous national park, known for its vast plains and incredible wildlife concentrations. The central region has year-round resident wildlife, including all of the Big Five.
After settling into camp, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Seronera Valley. This area is rich in wildlife with excellent chances of seeing lions, leopards, elephants, and giraffes.
Full day of game drives in Central Serengeti with packed lunch. Explore different areas including the Seronera River Valley, Maasai Kopjes, and Retima Hippo Pool.
The Serengeti's diverse habitats support an incredible variety of wildlife. The kopjes (rocky outcrops) are favorite resting spots for lions and leopards. The riverine forests along the Seronera River attract elephants, buffalos, and numerous bird species.
Optional morning balloon safari available at extra cost (book in advance). Alternatively, ask your guide about visiting the Serengeti Visitor Center to learn about the park's ecology and conservation efforts.
Morning game drive in Serengeti as you make your way to the exit gate. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 3-4 hours) with picnic lunch en route.
Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater rim in the afternoon and check into your lodge with stunning views over the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most spectacular natural wonders.
Perched on the crater rim with breathtaking views. The lodge offers comfortable rooms, hot showers, and restaurant. Enjoy the stunning sunset over the crater from the lodge's viewing deck.
Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive with picnic lunch. The crater is home to approximately 30,000 animals including the rare black rhino, large prides of lions, and thousands of wildebeest and zebra.
After your crater exploration, ascend the crater rim and begin your journey back to Arusha (approx. 4 hours). You'll be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or transferred directly to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight.
We recommend booking international flights departing after 6:00 PM from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) or any time from Arusha Airport. If you need a day room in Arusha before your flight, we can arrange this at an additional cost.
