After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full day game drive through the park famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Tarangire is particularly known for its high density of elephants and the Tarangire River that attracts wildlife year-round.
The park's landscape of rolling hills, swamps, and iconic baobab trees creates a photographer's paradise. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, and over 550 bird species. Arrive at Suricata Boma Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enter the Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate and enjoy a full afternoon game drive in the vast plains. The Serengeti is famous for the annual Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles move in search of fresh grazing.
Even outside migration season, the Serengeti offers excellent wildlife viewing with healthy populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and buffalo. Arrive at Tanzania Bush Camps in the evening for dinner and overnight.
